Every season PBF Volleybal hosts its own internal competition, according to the PBF Volleybal Rules. The PBF Volleybal Schedule shows when the various matches and activities are scheduled.
- Each competition round starts with a clean slate. Results of previous matches in previous competition rounds do not count.
- A team that is not present for at least 50% of the matches to be played forfeits all matches of the relevant competition round.
- The ranking is determined based on the number of match points won over the competition round. When teams have equal number of match points at the end of a competition round, their ranking will be determined by the number of set points won over th competition round. If still equal, ranking is by lottery.
- In the first competition round, we play a half round-robin scheme with the whole club, meaning each team plays the other team once.
At the end of the first competition round: - The top 7 teams from the first competition round go into poule A
- The bottom 8 teams from the first competition round go into poule B
- The second competition round we play a half round-robin scheme within each poule, meaning each team plays the other team once in their poule.
At the end of the second competition round the following promotion and demotion rules apply: - The two bottom ranked teams from poule A move to poule B
- The three top ranked teams from poule B moves to poule A
- NOTE: If agreed by both teams, for the team which came third in poule B and for the team which came second-but-last in poule A to not move to the other poule
- The third competition round, we play a half round-robin scheme within each poule, meaning each team plays the other team once in their poule.
- The season champion is the winner of poule A at the end of the fourth competition round.
